My twin-sister and I have lived apart for 20 years.She in Germany and I in the US.And when she moved to the US as well, we actually lived very close to one another for more than a year, but now with our move to Upstate that has changed again.At least we don't have an ocean in between anymore!We enjoy visiting though.
Meine Zwillingsschwester und ich haben 20 Jahre getrennt gelebt.Sie in Deutschland und ich in USA.Und als sie nach USA zog lebten wir wirklich etwas ueber ein Jahr nah beieinander.Nun hat sich das aber wieder mit unserem Umzug nach Upstate NY geaendert.Wenigstens kein Ozean mehr zwischen uns! Wir besuchen uns aber gerne!

thanks for the info I have looked at your photos before and found them wonderful! Germany looks like a hard place to live.. I am naive and ignorent i am sure but from the pics of the country side it looks that way. but I guess with family it is good. and Christ too. ;)
Hi lm1, thanks for looking at the pics from Germany.No, it's not a hard place to live over there, that is a false impression.It's similar to here in many ways.People in Germany like to socialize and have a god time.
But loving the Lord is much easier here!!

I thought the pictures of your hometown (from a previous post) looked nice. It seemed like a nice place to grow up.
Yes, it was a nice place to grow up.Very safe! And pretty, among the wineyards.To this day every time I approach the little village from far away when I first see the church looking over the hills, I am having tears in my eyes and I know I came home.
Loving the Lord here...people are much more God-loving people as a whole and more accepting of different religions and churches.In Germany many people are selfish and selfcentered, church is too boring for them and they all think they don't need a God because they are in control themselves or so they think.People are judgemental a lot more about others.In generell not as loving.Many Christians over there don't know what that really means, a relationship with Christ.I did not really know for a long time either and of course not all people are that way.
But generally speaking, it is easier here to worship the Lord among others.
